During the year, I will post so many things on this site so be sure to bookmark it and check it regularly.
Here is a display you will notice outside our classroom that we started working on in the first few days of school. We read a few books by David Shannon: Non, David and David va à l'école and then made our own David as well as some advice for him as he learns the rules at school. Some ideas from the students included: don't chew gum in class, no running in the hall, raise your hand to speak, and so on. It fit in very well with all the brainstorming we have been doing to decide as a group on expectations in and around the classroom. I hope you will have a chance to check out your child's David as well as meet all of his or her teachers tonight at the Meet the Staff night.
Well this partially explains Alistair's daily update on school, which invariably includes "gluing and writing... we do a LOT of gluing and writing!"
